    Awesome morning!

Thanks for the input everybody. Dropped my phone in snow the night I posted this so been m.i.a. but got it dried out so I'm back lol.
I chopped everything off a big pile of it and they gave me ins. #1 at 1.40 a # so wasn't too bad. That pile was 36#'s. Still got about half that I set aside for a snowy day too so in total it was about 50#'s I got that day. Made about $30 off brass, copper and alum. from there that day and $70 worth of items I'm reselling so it was a pretty good score. I'll never look at Christmas lights the same after chopping all those darn bulbs off though lol

If you have a way to strip them in one swoop then I would do it, or if your the type of scrapper who scraps while watching TV then do it, but other than that it isn't worth the time/money ratio taking bulbs off.

    Just my .02!

EDIT!!!! BTW nice score!! If I ever found a house like this it may not hurt to give the doorbell a ring and just let them know you exist. Im sure next time they wouldn't mind callin ya instead of trashin it all!
Thanks. I thought about doing that. Definitely gonna drive by this weekend too lol

I was on my way to shovel my moms driveway when I found it so that was awesome lol

    Awesome morning!

Sorted most of my unsorted pile and took that in today too. Was pretty happy how it turned out. Noticed they gave me old sheet price for ALL of my aluminum though. Everything from alum. foil to heat sinks and some cast alum was labeled old sheet. Seemed weird
