Pretty cool find on my birthday yesterday

Hey guys and gals. I planned on taking the day off for my birthday yesterday but decided to do my run anyway and kinda glad I did. Didn't find much metal but came across 2 of these.

There Star Trek Book on Records from the late 70's. One was opened but the other was still wrapped in plastic and never opened. Looked them up and they only put 20 different episodes on book and record like this. Thought it was a cool find so figured I'd share.

Why did the Klingon cross the road?

    To conquer the other side.

Why did the Borg cross the road?

    Because it assimilated the chicken!

What do you call it when that Strategic Operations Officer on DS9 runs as fast as he can?

    Worf Speed.

What did Picard say as Data struggled to repair the Marclosian Stitching Machine?

    "Make it sew."

What happened when Yeoman Rand complained that someone had cut a peephole in her cabin door?

Captain Kirk promised to look into it.

How many members of the USS Enterprise does it take to change a
    light bulb?

Six: Scotty to get on the intercom when the light goes out and say, "I canna do it, Cap'n!", Spock to tell Kirk he is proceeding illogically, McCoy to say "Dammit, Jim -- I'm a doctor not an electrician!!", Kirk to screw it in, and two red-shirt security officers to die in the process.

    What is Riker's dating philosophy?

If at first you don't succeed, try Troi again.

What does a Romulan frog use for camouflage?

    A croaking device.

Why did Worf change his hair color?

It was a good day to dye.

Why is Kirk a better captain than Picard?

    One word: hair.
    Kirk never drinks tea.
Kirk once fought a Greek god. And won.
Kirk traveled through The Great Barrier, met God, and wasn't even impressed.
    Kirk's bridge is not beige.

The actual running TV series of the original Star Trek was before most people's "time" (1966-1969, I was a little kid and never really remember watching an actual never seen before episode) but please tell me you've seen them somewhere (re-runs on syndication, some sort of sci-fi channel, dvd/blue ray collections, etc.)!! Otherwise, I don't know...how...really...to...relate. Its like not reading WWII history books in junior and senior high school during study hall...

I vaguely remember the tv show but remember the movies - I have em on vhs, dvd, and laser disc lol. The laser disc one's are the hardest ones to come across I'm told.

Anything from that era on laserdisc is hard to come by. lol.

I remember being a kid an wanting to buy them. Cost like 75 bucks back then.

We promptly bought a betamax, then a vhs. lol

Sirscrapalot - Tha times are a-changing - Bob Dylan..I shouldn't really have to point that out, but some of you lack the awesome musical taste that is mine.

I bet! Seems hard to come across laser discs at all nowadays, especially more rare shows/movies
