Ferrous piles at my yard are the lowest I've ever seen

Both of my yards that I sell iron to are small, independent feeder yards. Same thing- The usually-massive piles of iron and shred are GONE. It looks quite strange. I'm friends with both owners. Both have said they do not think the market is done falling, and they don't want to get burned sitting on large inventories of ferrous. I can't blame them. There's less coming in with the lower prices, but these guys are filling a container and OUT it goes.
