    Definitely a Commander as I saw the imprint of the word where it was removed from the front fender. Sorry to say, I should have removed the glass but when I winched the load down, something exploded above my head and it was that glass you see in the pic. I did remove the two ornaments on the front fender (bubble of glass on the front of a 16 inch dart)....one broke.

    I'm keeping tabs on more Studebakers that this guy (previous owner) has. He's pretty much out of commission and very much unable to do anything with them. All I gotta do is outlive him and even THAT is a question. Pnutfarmer, your identification skills on that old Stude sure impresses me...!!!!!
