I got to speak with the district operation manager the other day and she made it clear that I would not be able to out bid National Kidney Services (NKS). The reason is that they want to control what is being donated and who it goes to. The NKS has been servicing their second hand furniture store for years and the district ops said its helping people in need. She remarked that she had this conservation with me close to a year ago and wanted to know why I was recycle for their company. I offered to buy the 40 to 50 cellphones I was getting every month and she told me is wasn't about the money, its about the people we are helping.

Anyways, one of the guys who work their use to work at Ohio Thrift. He said what ever NKS couldn't sell they would donate it to Ohio Thrift. Then the electronics would be damaged out and sold off as scrap. Its a huge process of corporate write-offs and you rub my back I'll rub yours.
