The title of your thread does not match the intent of your post in IMHO. Your insight into the value of "badges" is greatly appreciated and something worth considering.
Its a saying that was used for a second time in a movie called "Blazing Saddles" and I think it was in an earlier movie with Humphrey Bogart. I like the quote. Mike
"Profit begins when you buy NOT when you sell." {quote passed down to me from a wise man}
Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked

When I took over the garage with my scrapping and such I was cleaning the garage and found a couple of 70' era fender badges for a Plymouth Fury.
I threw them up on Ebay and cleared about $10-12 on the pair (after shipping and fee's). This was when I was new to Ebay and not a lot of feedback. Now it might be doubled with a 800 + feedback. Good profit for something I found and would have thrown in shred pile but glad I checked them out.

Well with net neutrality , being passed by FCC - they say rural ares will be slower as companies will not offer services , Previous companies could offer net speeds by pricing & customers pick what suits them . Now the future seems if Net Neutrality really forges ahead
Rural areas are going to suffer .
Now your situation may of been this way before Net Neutrality but now the clamps will really tighten with even higher pricing
Thats what is coming out of the conservative politician camp.
