    Scrapping has mercy

Scrapping has mercy , you know it does .

I need $300 minimum Monday for my checking account ,
don't get me wrong I have plenty of inventory
but I still don't want to just sell off as a fire sale .
As I release material to the yard
I want to take in same or close in % ,
thats a feeling of success - sell $50 of copper
find $50 of metals even if it's not all copper .

I investigated for curiosity a pawn shop that would lend me $300 using my silver as collateral
2 week loan interest of $100 plus the $300 = $400 and 50 ounces collateral . That offer was sobering
$100 interest na not for me .

So off to the races I went and I'm at the Negative $170 for the mark for Monday . My trip to the
yard this morning was a nice fast $50 second run a sanfoo the yard closed early ?? and I could see the mix pile is like nonexistent .
and there closed .I'm saying darn $10 gas & truck has product crap!!
today now is a loss .I don't have room in truck to find much on the way back
but none the less I hit dumpsters
    & I keep finding just what I need a vacuum - Copper wire around 7# and Aluminum I figure around 40 #
    30 # mix

So wile I wish my truck could of been emptied on my second run. I give thanks to the scrap God for the nice metals on my way home ,
it really cheered me up .

Success Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity.... You had to be there. You had to look for it. You had to get it. Nice work, kiddo.

When I get into trouble and come up short, I use Cashland Check into Cash (or Cashland Financial).
If you have any kind of bank account then they will give you 28 day mini loans. I only get one check a month disability and it doesn't stretch all the way sometimes. Based on my income I can get up to $281 with roughly 30 days to repay for $43. interest. I know, still not great but handy when you really need it. It's paid back right after my check comes in, automatic withdrawal.

I also use them when I come across any nice home stereo equip. I had an older Pioneer receiver and a 5 disc CD changer (no remotes) and got $25. out of it when scrap price would have been 2-3 dollars. I'm not going to get rich but it's another place to move stuff that's better than scrap.

Cash-land Financial I see is not any place near me but there might be a similar institution nearby
sounds like it could save some bounce check scenarios
My job does produce a check each week but it's a 1099 so I come off as self employed .
