reminds me of a guy who advertised server racks for sale.
i took a chance & contacted him on Monday to ask about
scrap metal &
ewaste.
he replied the next day: says his company is moving premises & they have 2 old safes(dont know how old) and some server racks that need to be removed from the premises.
he then tries to be clever and says if he allows me to remove it, it wont be for free since there quite a bit of weight in those safes, which will mean a considerable payout at the scrap yard s i will have to pay him something for it.
he then says that of course the concrete will have to be removed from the safes.
i told him that i will leave it up to him to think about some arrangement thats sensible & suitable to both of us.
im waiting to see what he says if & when he gets back to me.
those safes are a pain to remove and with out removing the concrete from them, no scrap yard will take it.
so even if that guy says i can have it all for free, i wont accept the job bcos i would need to be paid to remove it bcos its just not worth it.
