Todays Haul (bikes, Bikes, BIKES)

Got a call earlier this week and the only time we could meet was 7am this morning due to a wedding later. I sure am glad I chose to get up!



BIKES! All are in fair - good condition. None are bend or rusted through. Some have zero rust, brand new chains, and just need air. Im thinking I pick the best 2 for the wife and I, then throw new tires on 5-6 of the really nice ones and sell them on CL. There is a mongoose in there that I found on ebay for 200-400.

Boys bikes sell better at yard sales around here. The girls take way better care of their bikes.

NICE haul. Wish that was my haul. I buy all the bike's I can get from the yard I work at, repair, fix and give away to anyone who can't afford one for there kid's. It's not about money to me it's about the SMILE on a kid's face that make's me happy.

Your not in Illinois are you? I was driving by 72 and 23 and saw a place with a whole bunch of bikes on the side of the house.

The load came from a contact at an apartment complex of 1,000+ units. They have a big storage area for bike and when people leave they end up leaving bikes behind. I worked all day today on this load O.O. 21 bikes total, 15ish just need new brake pads and are good to go, 6 or so need more work then that.

I had all the bikes out in the driveway today and already had neighbors coming up asking if I was going to be selling any bikes. I genuinely wonder what my neighbors think of me haha. I don't give a FU****** if they don't like me... but some days my yard is a complete scrapyard haha. I live on a park so we get a ton of foot traffic. Some days people look at me like im crazy... until they see something sitting in my scrap pile that they want!
