If its safe and its offered or thrown out, I'll probably take it. Propane tanks and that type stuff, haven't come across yet. But if the time comes, I wouldn't bother with it. But anything I can take as is or dismantle, bring it on

I know this was posted a long time ago, but I felt compelled to respond. If someone found a one ounce gold coin in a toilet, I'd bet that most would take it out (if they knew it was worth well over $1,200). I certainly would, even if the toilet was shall we say, not clean. But then I'd be pretty pissed if I found the coin was counterfeit!
