Nice little pick me up :)

Drove by some scrap on way to work, then same pile on way home for lunch. It didn't look like much from the car, but stopped on way back to work to get it, glad I did.



1 cast iron pump
1 50' extension cord
5 aluminum florescent light reflectors ~1'x4' each
1 brand new truck side step!
other misc items/brackets.

Going to polish up the side step and list on cl tonight, figure at least $40. Made me smile on a gloomy day here in NY.

Nice!! I'd wish more folks around here would just put stuff out at the side of the road to have someone pick up!!

nice pickup.. sometimes it pays to check out the little stuff. i made 130 cash proffit plus 250 in vallued stuff at a yard sale that was super small i woulda never stoped. only spent 90. so what i bought i got free plus ebay cash.

Silverock...-I did not partake this year (still trying to organize the garage). I filled the Buick up last year over by my SiL's nw side location. I made a little but not spectacular. When we sold our old house down off of 41st St. our neighborhood was in the clean up zone that year. Had pulled up carpet and such at the old house so it came in handy. I remember that weekend before the cityy started picking stuff up on Monday. There were people prowling from morning to well into the night. The piles were picked pretty clean of stuff that could be sold. Interesting to watch...
