I have been wondering...

Not unless you call multiple times to ***** and complain. [That has been my experience with them].
A long time ago I had a listing pulled. When I inquired about it I asked where the rule was that I broke and was told it was an unwritten rule. How am I to follow a rule if they do not tell me what it is???????????
No such smooshing with the landfill people around here (if there's that many around his area, I wonder if they're really full-blown landfills and not just town dumps that cover trash with dirt, something that has disappeared mostly in the US as the EPA has forced most communities into very big and highly regulated lined or clay based landfills). Our metro landfill (which handles trash for 5 counties) has contracted scrappers that are allowed to take items from the "rubble" sites (no working up on the main fill area allowed). I should find out more how that (those) contract(s) is (are) award just for grins...
P.S. I would have let the auction ride and find out what happened. Who knows how it would have turned out?? But that's just me.

Your right these are all small town dumps that cover garbage with dirt, have a burn pit and a metal pile.
If there is an Indian reservation close by the Natives are not permitted to use the white boys landfill, they have to maintain their own site. And the natives burn everything including appliances. I for one would like to see this changed but it is doubtful it ever will as we have a provincially funded town landfill while the Natives get their funding from the Federal Government.
My observations from living here in Manitoba eight years is the cancer rate per capita is extremely high and the number of children and young adults who have some form of retardation just blows me away.
Even our dog gets bottled water he wont drink this crap coming from the tap.
