    Latest scrap haul pic

    http://i910.photobucket.com/albums/a...pics%20016.jpg

Pic of latest scrap haul posted for viewing enjoyment. Doing some spring yard clean-up. 2 cars with engines (1 jam-packed with shred), 1 extra engine/trans, 1 SS barbecue grill, 2 unit heaters, total 7300# net @ $120/T, $438.00.

I have a small (Komatsu PC60) tracked excavator that I use as a crane more than for digging, will lift 5K #'s up close, so no problem stacking cars. I watch weight balance very close and make sure everything is secured. The Ford F250 gasser doesn't pull like my 2500HD Duramax but it gets the job done. People seem to give me a lot of space on the road for some reason, lol.

Edit. Pic not showing. Can somebody furnish instructions on posting pics?

Got it, thanks! Now; how do I set up my photobucket account to only allow that 1 pic to be viewed? Not that there's anything "interesting" there, lol.

In Photobucket, click on the "Direct" link, and then paste it into the location box after you click the "Tree" icon in the posting field:

Having owned a 1989 New Yorker, I'm guessing that the Dynasty had an Ultradrive experience.

    Nice haul!

Pick them up for free or did you have to shell out a few bucks?

The cars were daily drivers for my son and I. No major problems but too many little things to fix. Both cars had been in the family for 10+ years, so we had our use of them. The Dodge trans still worked but had a bad leak, probably the front seal.

BTW: the yellow ratchet strap is only holding the Cavalier hood closed, not securing the car. There are chains on all 4 corners!

We owned a 1989 New Yorker that was given to us a few years ago. It was on it's second transmission, which gave out... only at a low 269,000 miles.

Other than the transmission failure, it was (And still is) my favorite car that we've ever owned.

Great haul, though! I'd bet that Dynasty weighed a lot across the scale!
