    Oh What A Night!

Yesterday I went straight from work to a pick up about 20 min away and cut up a large porch swing and loaded it with a water heater (3' cu pipe attached) and other random metal. Full van home. BBQ dinner for the family, eat, sell a Graco stroller for $30, go to a local call for a bbq (oh the irony), find another on the way home from there. Then go 2 towns over for a tv, 2 towers, 2 crt monitors and a surround sound. On the way home from that I got another bbq and computer desk! It was like it was garbage week but that's next week

I love it when I fill my night and van with scrap!

METAL IS MY MISTRESS...PLEASE DON'T TELL MY WIFE!

Good job! The best kinds of scrap are the kind you find on the way to and from places you're already going.

Always nice when there is scrap all over. Its been clean up week in one of the 6 towns I drive through to and from work for 3 weeks now. I fill up my car on the way home 5 nights a week. Then I go home cause it's cleaning week in my town and fill up the truck. It's good to get so much but I work til 10:30 pm and get home at at about 1 am.

I hear you. I'm more exhausted then normal right now. But the money in my pocket is better than 10 cups of coffee! And thanks Patriot, I did last night. I got a gazebo and another bbq. Darn thing almost fell apart in the middle of the road it was so rusted!

The weekend was even better! 2 gas mowers, 2 treadmills, a fireplace, stove, 5 towers, monitors, and some tools I needed (good snips, voltmeter (like new!) and more I can't remember with even more to come as a neighbour let me know I can have her old stove and fridge this Friday and dishwasher, washer/dryer sometime soon!

    I LOVE SPRING CLEANING!

Last night was the first garbage night and as I thought, it was a little lackluster. Everyone put their stuff to the curb on the beautiful weekend we just had. That's why I couldn't turn a corner without finding something. Did alright though, plus had a pick up in the next town over with a big crt and some other small items.

Had another good one last night. 3 pick ups 2 towns over all within 10 min of each other. Medium sized CRT and big 36" one, working self propelled honda mower, 1 tower and the icing on the cake: a working kegerator! For those that don't know, as I didn't yesterday, a kegerator is a modified mini fridge that holds a keg and has a tap coming out the top! I have to clean this thing up and sell it before it gets me in a whole world of trouble
