    My Best Day Yet!

I had Monday off from my day job so I used it to clear out the growing pile of other peoples' stuff around my house. It's that time of year and I have been quite busy helping empty other peoples' garages/sheds/yards etc. and making a huge mess of mine! I made five trips to the yard yielding a grand total of $155, which, added to the $50 my neighbour gave me for 3 big filing cabinets from my wife's work, helped me reach my goal of a $200 day! Wahoo!

I didn't even get to smash all my yokes and turn in some #2 (but I did add 3 to the pile from a pick up yesterday) plus I have a 2 ton trolley jack and 2 big tire ramps that just need some paint. Can't wait to have my first $300 day!
METAL IS MY MISTRESS...PLEASE DON'T TELL MY WIFE!

That's the plan. I haven't even done half the advertising I had planned for this year. I have been too busy. When I get new bus cards I will get another magnet or 3, lol.

    Congratulations on meeting your goal!

I will be making moves of my own next week. I turned a truck I bought for $1225 into $2000 a few weekends ago and next week I'm hellbent on buying my summer scrap truck. Once I have that in my hands I will be busy busy busy.

Goals next week are to get my business cards designed in full (I have plenty of napkins with ideas on them) and ordered and repost all my craigslist ads for hauling/cleanouts/scrap metal.

    Goals are good to have!
