Your lease is up you mean you have to move. Its sad I really think the people I meet that scrap if they were traditonal businessmen with capital behind them all of them would be rich.

Each scrapper I know knows his field they know the products the grades the prices who you can trust who is scammer etc. We take risks each day and buy and sell and provide a stimulus package for local economy. As the banks by the scrap yards. Most yards I know put out hundreds of thouands each month into guess what the people who need it the most.

I hear you and if I hear you right your losing your lease its bull****. I am losing my scrap business it seems, not because I dont want to work or because the markets are soft or anything like that. I never had a line of credit and since 2011 Ive been lucky to turn o dollars, nothing but debit into about 8k a month to pay all our bills, all it took was a few injuries in my family this year and boom Im two months late on my shop and its sucks. A lot of customers are not getting paid all this material isnt getting recycled and I turn away truck loads full of stuff to sad faces because they have to go to another yard that doenst grade right or steals weight or you get flat tires from or a yard who does not grade cats well.

I hope some how you can fix your lease. Ill pray for you. Im praying for me too. I know cats ewaste as good or better than anyone I ever meet quite a statement huh well sorry I take scrap that serious. I really do but heres a list of my faults, ex drug addict tons of owed childsupport three kids, many times id have to pay all id have saved up to make debit or lose my right to drive, I worked with all state and city liceses I paid to have my scales professionally certified , I didnt work to steal I always give my customers the right treament or even in a mistake I tell them months later hey I got more for that cat I did stuff that most big yards dont do. I did see the small guys my size do the right thing though and you know whats wrong the small guys IU know that have insured trucks and do it right and a small scale shop are all going out of business because they cant get bank loans even though the large places that are crooks keep alive and the customers know it. I cant even go to my shop because people come in and some give me a few batteries or a cat and they want to help me but I got look them in the face and say man it cost so much to just pay the bills at home thank you for your cat and battery but the few bucks I have because 50 bucks is not going to pay my rent and food but i do appreaicate it what I need is buying money like I always had before but with no line of credit a business you ran for ever can go way for no reason at all. In my case a injury in my family and my own mistakes and sin in 2011 landed me in the hosptial with MRSA and I never had a chance to bank money since. A business like scrap yard need money to buy metals. Funny thing is with money the customers are there the big buyers are there my shop is set up to run and I will most likely leave my land lord stranded on two months rent when I never jipped him once because guess what its not really my shop rent thats killing us now its the fact my business because no buying money isnt providing food for my table. What does a christain man do he prays. The lord says it okay but I need to start telling the truth and admitting YO I have a great little business here if you guys do scrap in NEW ENgland I know Il find a buyer who can back me up with bying money. Guess what when that happens Ill be in the buyers section here killing it.

Im in central mass, I buy batteries, cats, copper, al rotors number one etc. Im 50 feet from a highway called rt 2 its an hour from almost anyone in New England I know grades like the best I know ewaste like crazy insaine in the membrane I will be selling like new batteries also and good tires.


If you need a buyer that is a indoor warehouse with loading docks and certified scales that pays cash an grades honest start calling me. I have no money but all I just said is true exept for no battery inventory last 3 yearsl LOL That is crazy state thinks Im selling 100 like new used batteries a month. Ive worked with most larger groups around Mass Im a believer with a history not unlike many of you, so please I know what its like to not know where the next meal is coming from but I also know with the right tools any of us can do what we think is impossible.

If you call and Im not there my wife is at the shop tell her your from the fourm, Id like to know who is off scrap fourms im going to heavily use and traffic this site to rebuild my business even if its from the back of my wives honda crv and not the old freightliner I have that I paid off in a few months before I got sick. Scrap is amazing small time under the raydar or blown up big. Keep rolling you guys.
