It does appear by the missing screws on the case it has been opened. you might pull the top off to check for obvious missing parts. it looks like a Cisco clone. Some companies like IBM and Cisco will sell their product clones under a cheaper name.
What type of screws are holding the case together, slotted, star, or Phillips ?
