Haven't been doing much scrapping fellas. My partner and I hauled in everything out of his front yard. Copper, al, brass, dirty brass, ICW, shred, and a couple odds and ends like cbms and cu/al rads. $361. Pretty pitiful. We split it and that was that.

Been doing a couple auctions and trying to flip stuff on eBay. Things have been slow. I picked up a chandelier that retails at $1800+. I have it listed now at $1300obo. That will be dropping tomorrow (its been up for a week, not a single watcher) and put up as a 7 day auction. Start it at $999NR and see if anyone bites. Needless to say, I didn't pay much for it. I'm trying to really make up big for some bad buys at auction LOL.

I bought ~50 pieces of stovepipe for under $50. Partner used 10 of em for his personal wood stove. Put some on eBay, sold one piece for $8. Brought it all to the flea market this morning and didn't do too well. Sold 4 pieces for $20. I've decided to throw the rest on eBay in lots. One lot of increasers and reducers. One lot of tees. Get it gone and free up some space in my eBay office.

I was on my way home from 3rd shift a few months back. Saw a sign for a garage sale and thought what the heck, lets check it out. Turns out it was whole neighborhood sale and intended up handing out about 30 business cards. I found a seed spreader for free on the side of a driveway. It had a busted handle cause it lost a rivet. Put a shoulder bolt in its place and it worked like a charm. Sold it this morning for $50. Can't complain about that.

Took home $161 from the flea market today after vendor fees, buying a couple tools, and eating breakfast and lunch there with my girlfriend. Can't complain I guess. It was super slow though, I took it as a warning to avoid the flea market for the winter as a seller. Normally there are so many people there you can't even sit down as a vendor without getting right back up. I spent most of my day sitting down and getting my ear chewed off by an annoying neighbor. No worries though, I'm going to keep buying (I only buy cheap cheap cheap) and acquiring and hopefully hit the market hard when the weather breaks.

The dodge is up for sale. I don't want to carry it on my insurance for the winter as its 2wd and I have a subaru already registered, inspected and insured for the next year. No use is keeping 2 vehicles at the moment. The state has decided they need my license more than I do for the next 6 months so I'll be out of commission for awhile anyways. Getting to and from work is going to be a blast.

Just a little update I guess. Hope everyone is keeping their heads above water in these rocky times. Adapts and overcome fellas, we'll catch a break at some point. Might be a while though.

I was hoping that too, Rog. Was doing okay until I found out they were taking my license for 6 months. Lost my guns for life, too. Live and learn.

I'm on a diet and I'm trying to stay positive. It's been a strange few years for me, especially since getting out of college. Needless to say, things did NOT go as planned. So I'm forming new plans, but they continue to get put on hold as things from the past keeping rearing their ugly head. Hopefully, after I get my license back, it will all truly be in the past. Aside from the next 5 years on probation. That's gonna take a while to overcome. Probation isn't a big deal to me as far as drug testing/meeting with my supervisor and whatnot. What's tough is the 30 mile radius they put on me for 5 years. I can go past said radius with a simple phone call/email, but the fact that I can't service the "Hey man, just tore out 4 water heaters. Tanks and 100lbs of copper are sitting in the basement. Get here quick!" call from the next town over without permission anymore hurts. I'll get through it all, but it definitely makes things tougher.

I hope you're ready for winter up there! Snow's coming quick if it's not there already!
