    Cool you guys told me to keep up the searches on my phone....

    And I have! I just picked up a FREE pool heater 2 miles from my house. I'm on the way home with that now. I'll post pictures of the scrapping process. get excited!!

    Nice catch!

    There should be a couple of old posts on here that describe the stripdown of pool heaters.

    If I remember correctly, lots of brass, copper and stainless... $$$

    There most definitely is!! I was reading them over last night so I had the ammo I needed to convince my boyfriend to help me load it. thanks guys!!

    Cool who is ready for pictures??

    I got to use a angle grinder today, so I'm pretty happy.








    I don't have a scale so I don't have the weights, but I think I did OK. The manifold was cast though.
