    Great haul yesterday

This was todays haul. Gonna chop it up and prep for shipping!

Total weight was around 75 pounds of copper.

Also received about 25+ pounds of brass plumbling materials. However I think we're going to sell most of that as functioning equipment (a lot of was new).

    Cheers

Great haul, why are you shipping it? Mike

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked

Can't sell locally. It's about a 50-60% (or more) cut in price.

I was going to ask you why tradesmen are giving that to you for free but then I saw this post. Would hoarding copper then renting a uhaul be worthwhile? I would love to show up to a yard with 5000# of copper and say "Check please!"

I think they are in Hawaii if I remember right, so the uhaul wouldn't be a big help

Yea, I'm in Hawaii. Hard to move this stuff. I'll figure out a way to cram that into a flat rate.

even in the u.s. stateside its profitable to ship to higher paying yards been doing that with copper for years and flat rates are great for plate pieces lots of weight little shipping even brass too is nice and with the new giant large flat rate box it fits a crap load of crap lol
