    If you switch for good, I'd imagine that you could just tell them that you sold the old truck



    I'd read on the vehicle requirements. IIRC, VIN reporting wasn't available until OBDII. If that's true, any 1995 or older vehicle can't transmit a VIN, meaning that if esurance supports those vehicles, you should be able to move it without them knowing.

    That's all I can help. Out here in Wyoming, I drive 80 miles round trip just to get to my office. A device like this would be a terrible idea!
