Every time I go to the scrapyard I tell myself...

The low prices are really good for me.

Well, I am trying to tell myself that.

I make the vast majority of my money on better than scrap stuff I salvage from the leftovers.

The scrap money is just beer, snack money. Sometimes it is enough to take the lady out for dinner.

But it sure was a lot nicer when I scored $80 in my cargo van per load (I got a Ford F150 long bed by now) vs. the $10-18 I get now.
Today was huge..... took in a pile of Aluminum and some #2 copper so I actually made $58 today wooheee..... (insert sarcasm here)

Anyhow. I really think though the low scrap prices are good for me, as I get so much more stuff for free.

I took over several mid sized commercial accounts in the last couple of weeks, because their regular guys dropped out of the game.
They were just straight scrappers. Load, scrap, do it again....

Just no money in it for them.
I break stuff down and get always some nice stuff out of it.

In the process of getting a warehouse.
Then I will hit all those mid sized businesses hard.
I have a feeling I will need a full time driver for pickups in no time.

Anyway. Just figured I put some positive spin on the low scrap prices.
