YES...even if they do not work, they can be sold for more than scrap. I sold a Commodore 64 recently for $25 (non working) on Ebay. Even parts are worth it to collectors.
PROFIT is made when you BUY/ACQUIRE NOT when you sell

unknown yet. i unloaded a truck full of stuff, went back for smaller load. unloaded that, then cut grass. so i hope to plug it in by tomorrow. although makes me wonder is that i have picked up from this source many times and i have gotten some old stuff but not that old. wonder where all this was hidden.

Nice find! I love finding & selling these vintage computers. I got a working Commodore 64 with its floppy drive and tons of educational kids games, everything in their original packages for free at a swap meet. Just sold on eBay for $110 + $50 shipping! There was so much stuff in this lot I had to send two packed boxes via UPS out to CA, which ended up totalling almost $90. Still made $65 or so, though. So learn from my mistake and make sure you adjust your pricing according to their weight if you eBay them!

Same computer I bought at a yard sale early 90's for my son, came with a bunch of different programming languages.

Owner told me he paid over $8000.00 for it when it was new.

Also offered to give me my money back when he realized this was for my son, I was curious why so asked him if it worked and his reply was yes but you could not play games on it. I said screw it, only a $100.00 no great loss well it tunred out my son using the programming languages was able to compile his own games.

    Best $100.00 I ever spent.

My son is ADD and this computer brought him into the real world allowing him to express himself.

A year later I was so proud of my son I went out and purchased him an IBM compatible, with 8 megs of ram, math co-processor, 100 meg hard drive and a tape backup which set me back $7500.00. Then thinking my son and I would now have something in common bought myself a tower, motherboard HD and ram.

Joke was on me, I studied encryption and e-commerce when my son and I finally got together the only thing we had in common with computers is that we both used a power switch to turn them on.
