    Sad story from my state

With prices so low it's sad to see this still happens but it's always going to.

Well I tried to post the link but I guess I'm better at tearing things apart.
The story was a guy was arrested in Denver for trying to sell 370 pounds of cut up brass headstone plates and vases from graves.
They news channel went undercover trying to sell a few bronze vases to scrap yards and one paid for them without question.

I'm kind of glad the link isn't working.
The thought of someone stealing the plate off of my parents grave....

Too funny, making brass vases you missed your window of opportunity. With the theft of bronze plaques gone rampant no one will be buying or replacing stolen ones any time soon.

    Stone is the future.

If your really sincere SMF has a forum on metal casting.

How long does someone stay dead? Perhaps they were probably done using them...

Is there a difference between a graveside urn/vase and any other? I buy vases and urns at garage sales all the time and I have never had the yard question them.

Usually pictures of the vases in question will be emailed to the yards and printed out so we can be on the lookout for them.

If you come across a gold urn with a dent in it-it belongs to the Undertaker from the rasslin' show.

Maybe he carries Paul Bearer's remains in it too?

that is sad, small towns ask for id if your selling anything, it's allot easier to replace a part because you can't read soft stones after awhile
