Yukon, I like the big trucks because I also do hauling and auto transport, but they are great when I get huge scrap buys like chiller units and other things, but I have a saying. - the bigger the truck, the bigger the buck - don't get that the wrong way... It has two meanings.. The bigger the truck, the bigger the potential and capability of making more money... But the tires cost more, the oil changes are more, the registration/insurance is more, blah blah so on and so on. If this isn't a full time gig, you need to find the happy medium to justify the new truck (unless you are just tired of the old vehicle and just want a nice comfy new vehicle and looking for a good excuse) lol. Because that's where I was. I needed a new truck and got bigger and bought an 08 F450 but my employee drives it and I'm still in my 96 powerstroke... But I also usually get to drive my medium duties and semis so that makes me happy but I want a nicer truck to daily drive and pull my trailer with.
Sorry for the jumble, but a trailer is a great way to go. 14-16' is very maneuverable in all environments and you can beat up a 2000 dollar trailer and not feel bad about it. But I do have to say that that Chevy in your pictures isn't a base model, that's the "do work" edition haha
