    Treadmill components

I found 2 treadmills at curbco last week. One had a note on it: "works". Looks like a nice 1.5HP DC motor, which I will save. Any advice on salvaging components off these units?

Those motors are like gold for people that want to create their own electricity by building a wind turbine.

Resell, reuse, recycle so try getting loot for them on ebay, yard sale or local craigs list since it's the time of year to start new years resolutions then it's their problem when it fails.
