Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

I hate to beat this horse to death but here's another one where people have no clue. Now maybe there are parts on these appliances that would go for more than scrap price and then again maybe not. This town is at least 35 miles from the metro and the yard that takes steel. Then a person would have do something with the freon. Even with cheap fuel, don't know if the scrap would cover it. You guys that haul appliances, what might 2 standard frigs and a stove weigh for steel??
I have 2 fridges and a stove in Salem, SD. They must be hauled away asap. Whoever wants them, must pick them up. The are for scrap and dont work.
Fridge: 150 - 200 lbs x 2 = 300 - 400 lbs.
Stove - 100 - 150 lbs.
Total 400 - 550 lbs. 500 lbs x $0.025 = $12.50
Maybe 5 lbs of #2 copper insulated wire. 5 lbs x $0.40 = $2.00
2 lbs #2 copper. 2 lbs x $1.50 = $3.00
5 lbs Aluminum. 5 lbs x $0.30 = $1.50
10 lbs electric motors. 10 x $0.10 = $1.00
Some quick math, with prices approx, near me = $20.00

Another fun one. I like selling old wood for re-purposing but these stuff looks pretty rough, half rotten at the base. Probably never treated. And make sure you pick up the screws!!
My old cedar fence must have been insulted that I signed a contract yesterday for a new vinyl fence this spring. It had a tantrum in last night's wind and threw itself onto the ground in my neighbor's yard. If you want weathered cedar fence panels, come and haul them away and they are yours. I need these to go away soon and get them out of my neighbor's yard.
**Important** You will need a drill with a square bit, and I do not want any screws left on the ground. Also need to be respectful of my yard & neighbor's yard. There is easy access to do this.

If you needed fence to put in your back yard or side yard, maybe. It says 80 feet so about 10 8' section. There is probably good sections still. Stockade cedar fence is not cheap.

Another good one. Now, some people like to use saw dust to keep the grease down on things (such as fleshing fur critter skins) but I think this stuff is pretty coarse. And of course you'd have to take the stump. I wonder if they'll get any takers...??

That made my day.
One man's trash is another man's treasure
Here's a good one. I can't believe i'm gonna pass on this amazing opportunity.
Free metal money making opportunity
Want to make some money with me? Here is the deal:
There is a fire escape my landlord owns in the downtown Harrisburg area, that he wants me to remove. "YOU" dismantle the fire escape shown in this add off first and second floor exterior
walls of building, and cut into hand liftable sections, "WE" load it onto my stake body truck
and take to CSR on Cameron St. Hbg. "WE" split the ca$h slip 50/50, half n half. Keep in mind,
you do all the dismantling, not me, meaning, you are responsible to bring whatever equipment necessary to detach from brick wall, and cut into hand liftable truck fitting pieces. You are not
permitted to take any of the metal off the property. Once metal is detached and cut up, I will
bring my truck for it to be loaded. I will be asking to look at your Pa. state ID to write down
your info, and you will be required to sign a "contract" and a "no fault injury waiver". The goal is to start early and have everything done and cashed in before 4pm. If this cannot be done by 4pm, everything must be down, cut up, and loaded in my truck before leaving premises, in which will go home with me (and I will be more than glad to let you know where my home is) and cashed in and money split the following day. But keep in mind that is only if everything cannot get done within the course of one business day. Again, keep in mind that you are required to bring whatever tools
and equipment necessary for the teardown and cut up, such as cutting torch, demo saw, latters, etc.
All I am bringing is the truck and ratchet straps. Serious inquiries only. I am a busy man, so if you do not have the tools, equipment, and know how necessary, please do not contact me and waste my time. Thanks.
I had a guy tell me I could have his old washer/dryer If I helped him get it out if his basement AND bring the new ones in
METAL IS MY MISTRESS...PLEASE DON'T TELL MY WIFE!
last March I bought a 96 mustang with rebuilt motor in July I posted it in the barter section for a small pick up or mini van
The worst offer I got was if I bought the parts for a broke down van that had over 200 K miles on it he would fix van then trade me for my car
Here's another good pool post on Craigslist. Totally worth the time. Lol.
FREE!
All you have to do is come and take it down!! MUST TAKE THE DECK, POOL & have machine to pull ALL concrete footings from ground & truck to haul them away. The footings are 4-6ft deep by 1ft across, think there is 30 off them.
---All in, the materials only for this pool were over $6,000 & it sucks for me we only used it for two years. My loss is your gain I guess!!
Will include earth filter, sand filter, and all floats and toys we have if you also regrade yard after removal - $500+ value
First come first serve!!! Text me for quickest response.
I saw one today for "bricks, in great condition, you must remove" with a pic...they're still attached to the house! Bet they won't be in such great condition afterwards, LOL
About 3 weeks ago I got a call. The guy said he would give me 2 double wide trailers they had to be moved in one day and he knew I could get at least 600 dollars a piece for them at the scrap yard.Best part since i was going to make that much he only wanted 100 bucks a piece. All he heard on his end was click.Do we actually look and sound that foolish.
LOL....I grew up in South Dakota.
I will take every mobile home I can get my hands on for free. My brother and I would scrap the aluminum and the copper wire. My brother and I would cut the i-beams in half, install another hitch on the other i-beams. Most trailers I have done came with 6 axles, so we would remove 3 axles and install them on the other i-beams. So we were able to turn a mobile home into 2 bail hauling trailers. We got $1000 for each trailer and farmers loved them!!
Hey, lovecash! Where's your general location if you're still in SD, such as "Aberdeen area", "Aurora County", etc....
