I get a chuckle from these people...

This guy must think he's going to have a line of people just awaiting to scrap out/haul away or move his "haven't been lived in for 15-years" "mobile" home. I wonder how long before he simply just torches it, although never know someone might want to go at it in the middle of the winter...

Dbl wide trailer house . Just acquired this property and this unit has to be moved and or recycled.

It's free . Arrange with me a time and your process of removal and I will agree or set guidelines for its removal.

It is obviously not new. I have not inspected nor care to. It's been vacant for over 15 yeArs. I question it being livable as is.
I just want it gone. The cost of moving or recycle is on the person that wants it.
Only way to look at it is to contact me first. Any trespassers on property will be prosecuted.

Do not need help selling so any business type calls or solicitations are not welcome .

    Thank you

All those ads are about folks who are trying to avoid the cost of getting something done.

I saw a similar posting on CL except it was an above ground pool with a concrete walkway going to it. It also had a deck built around it.

The poster wanted the concrete walkway, deck and pool removed and good topsoil brought to fill in the area where they were.

They also wanted grass seed and straw put down so their back yard looked as if the pool and walkway were never there.

The best part of the deal..... it was FREE and you get to keep the wood and the metal from the pool to sell for scrap.

That's got to be the best freaking deal of the century!!

It makes sense for being a Sioux Falls ad. Guy tried to sell me a ranger with a blown head gasket on it once. Fund people folks from South Dakota are...

People here try and make it sound like you will make a million bucks and you should be bowing down to them. When in reality the county or city has threatened them with a fine if they don't move it.

    People are amazing. LOL

I love the ones for free firewood.

Come cut down the 250' pine tree next to my house.
    You must be insured.
You can NOT drive in my lawn.
Stump must be cut flush or removed.
All debris must be raked up and removed.

And all the ads for Free Scrap Tires

One of those that I saw was from a tire shop. I'm willing to bet they still charged their customers the tire disposal fee.

If you wanted a house for a BOL or a land only property, it doesn't look like a bad house. Might need a little tlc, but likely would be cheaper to move it and repair than to purchase new.

    what's "BOL"?

Maybe I'll find out where it is and then go by once a while to see what ever happens to it. I wonder why he hasn't gone in to check it out, too cool for school or scared of the creepy crawlers that may be in there. If its been unoccupied for 15 years, I bet the coons, grinners, and skunks have had a blast in it. I'd still burn it...

    Free metal money making opportunity

Want to make some money with me? Here is the deal:

There is a fire escape my landlord owns in the downtown Harrisburg area, that he wants me to remove. "YOU" dismantle the fire escape shown in this add off first and second floor exterior
walls of building, and cut into hand liftable sections, "WE" load it onto my stake body truck
and take to CSR on Cameron St. Hbg. "WE" split the ca$h slip 50/50, half n half. Keep in mind,
you do all the dismantling, not me, meaning, you are responsible to bring whatever equipment necessary to detach from brick wall, and cut into hand liftable truck fitting pieces. You are not
permitted to take any of the metal off the property. Once metal is detached and cut up, I will
bring my truck for it to be loaded. I will be asking to look at your Pa. state ID to write down
your info, and you will be required to sign a "contract" and a "no fault injury waiver". The goal is to start early and have everything done and cashed in before 4pm. If this cannot be done by 4pm, everything must be down, cut up, and loaded in my truck before leaving premises, in which will go home with me (and I will be more than glad to let you know where my home is) and cashed in and money split the following day. But keep in mind that is only if everything cannot get done within the course of one business day. Again, keep in mind that you are required to bring whatever tools
and equipment necessary for the teardown and cut up, such as cutting torch, demo saw, latters, etc.
All I am bringing is the truck and ratchet straps. Serious inquiries only. I am a busy man, so if you do not have the tools, equipment, and know how necessary, please do not contact me and waste my time. Thanks.

You see, you really need to include the contact info for this guy so I can waste some of his incredibly important time.

That sounds like someone doing p&p work for foreclosures. Ive done that work before. Took my own scrap in though.
Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

Well, Ohio Scrapper, I sure hope it works out for him. Probably some rich guy who also wants a guy to dump his big buckets and count how many screws and bolts he has (sorry, old inside joke of mine...)

I just looked at two campers 15 and 18 footer. Behind a marina. I told him if he got a 20 yard bin and a tractor I'll take the frame floor for free or exchange for labour to cut them up...he thought I was out to lunch. Didn't belive me scrap yards don't want them anymore.
