    New Year Resolutions...

So, have any of you made a resolution for the next year?
Perhaps if we post out successes when we have them it will help to keep our goals fresh in our minds and help us keep the resolve,

I have made a decision I will reconcile my checkbooks and CC statements once a month so I don't have to cram months at the end of, beginning of the year.

My wife and I have a coffee can that has notes for the good times of the year. I resolve to try to remember to put at least one good time note a month into the coffee can. I love my wife and she deserves to hear and remember our happiest times.

I resolve to close my one pain in the ass bank account and move the auto pays to my new, less of a pain in the ass bank account.

Let's all kick ass this year and make some headway in our lives to look back and be proud of.

It will be business as usual. I paid off the house and other debts I had. Have a bit of a cash cushion. I feel the next step is to find a wife, but that doesn't seem like something I can put a time line on.

My goals are to become a better Christian, lose some weight, and save up to pay for my next vehicle in cash from my More than Scrap Value parts business.

    Nothing too special, really.

You could just do what I do: Make long lists, use extensive phrasing, and make no relevant points.

    See- two commas!

I saw your original post before it was edited. That was nothing personal- just humor at the "Two commas" statement.

So, this is awkward. I need an irrelevant distraction!

It's alright, but you know what they say- you have to make hay when the sun is shining!

matador: "This space intentionally left blank. Though, I'll admit, finding a picture of baling hay would be pretty easy...."

It'll come Idaho. I didn't get married until I was 45. Met the best woman ever on match.com. I had to move 3 hours from what I called home, but I've acclimated to the new lifestyle.

Just find one that is already established and debt free like yourself. That's hard to find nowadays but they are out there.

    Good luck to you buddy.

My New Years resolution for the new year is to quit smoking cigs , might try the vape route . It occurred to me that every 2 packs of smokes is a ounce of silver . Just don't think about how much silver you don't have if you smoke . Or each pack is a gallon of organic milk or half a box of diapers . Happy new year everyone !

I reserve commas for high scores - metalbestos

Guilty as charged. New Years resolution not to use two commas in the same sentence even if they are needed.
