What item haven’t you found to scrap but should have seen one by now?

What item haven’t you found to scrap but feel you should have seen one by now? For me it’s as simple as a pop-up style toaster, 2 or 4 slice. (Pause for laughter) I have been doing this for 3 years now and this little item has alluded me. I figure it’s because it is small enough to just be thrown into a trashcan and I would never see it.

So I ask, what is the simplest item you haven’t found yet but feel you should have?
I'm going to recycle the world.

I haven't found that ounce of gold yet but I feel like I should.

I did find something yesterday that I wish I hadn't.

I picked up some towers, laptops, a few boxes and a bag that had some extension and power cords in it.

When I pulled them out of the bag I noticed there was some kind of body..... uh.....I don't even want to know, massager thingy attached to one of the cords.

And NO I did not scrap it for the electric motor. I did keep the cord.

    Always wear gloves!

For me its a standard heat pump and air handler. I've scrapped parts of them like the evaporator coils and TXV's and stuff, but never the whole thing.

The other day I found a Kenmore pop up toaster with 10" slots and LEDs, was the only thing next to an empty garbage can on the curb down my street. Plugged it in and it heats up quickly, I'll probably try to hack it into a heat gun. With prices so low, its easy to find weird stuff out there. A few months ago I got an old motorized bed frame, also from down the street. It was at least 20 years old, but worked. Very heavy. My kids had fun with that one for a few days!

Believe it or not...a pressure washer.

I've found mowers, trimmers, snowblowers, LCD TV's, toasters, and every other appliance and gadget I can think of, but no pressure washer.

Actually broke down and bought a used one this past fall because I needed to get the green junk off of the siding.

I'm sure I will find 10 of the darn things now.

Meth lab. Indiana is wrought with them and I'm very surprised not to have run into one yet especially when my clients are out of state and need a rental or what not cleaned out. Prepping for meth lab cleanup so I'll see one soon enough lol

I've really only been seriously scrapping for about a year. These are some things I have yet to find:

    1) Black & Decker Workmate (work bench- those used to be super popular back in the day)
    2) Typewriter
    3) iPhone

As a kid me and a buddy found a corpse in our favourite swimming hole then when we had reported it to a woman living a mile away so that she would report the incident to the police she would not believe us.

So we walked her back to the site.

About a month later we had to attend the inquiry to give our disposition.
