- Color of motherboards/control boards

Hello everyone. While disassembling some electronics that didn't work I noticed the control board was blue instead of the typical green boards I've seen. Is there really any difference? Im just holding onto to them until I get enough to recycle. Thanks for the help.

NO, colored boards vs green boards, makes no difference. Only real difference in pricing will be for small socket vs large socket (see pricing in that subforum from the buyers on this board)

Thanks for the input. I did do a search on this forum for colored boards but I guess I searched the wrong keyword thats why I posted the question. I usually start with the search option before I post.

Scrape some of the 'paint' off of the board to see what type of metal is underneath ...

Copper is most common, however you also have steel and gold based boards
