Loaded up and heading for the yard ( with pics )

Just one of my most recent loads to the yard had 2x dishwashers 2x tumble dryers 6x washing machines and a number of other shred items.
I removed motors and wireing looms as best I could.
Had over 300kg in total netted just over £30 not bad for a few hrs work.

As we all love pics any one else got a yard load to share.

It's a ford transit crew cab tipper UK model seats 5 plus the driver and can carry 1 ton in weight is fitted with a 2.4 ltr turbo diesel engine.

The crew cab is ideal for me as I've a growing family and a small pick up wouldn't have the room for me plus it makes life a lot easier at the yard as I don't have to hand ball my shred off

Dang that's a nice truck. I wish we could buy those here. That is one that I would consider going into debt for.

They are available here as a stripped chassis, but no 4 door. Most of them will have a cargo box on the back, but you can order them with a dump bed.

You would get more cash if you sold your appliances to a used appliance store.

I get 10 bucks each for non working and $20.00 and up for working units.

Love the Rig!! I hunted something similar here in the states but couldn't find anything either. I needed the extended cab, because this would have been my scrap rig, my contracting rig, as well as, my daily driver and I have 2 little scrappers.. so all the "work vans" or vehicles of this type are simply a front cab and no extension- Which wouldn't fit my needs.

Ended up buying a sprinter van and installing a set of cushy bus seats in the back of the van that have 3 point seat belts on them, and they fold up. So if the van gets filled with computers, I can fold up the seats and get that extra bit of space I need too!
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

You can get a GMC 4 door cabover or a Hino 4 door cabover in North America.

You can also get right hand drive 4 door cab over trucks from Japan-not Hino but I don't know the manufacturer names.

The GMC and Chevrolet cabovers are actually just rebadged Isuzus. Those are probably the closest to what you have in the UK. Mitsubishi Fuso may sell them too, but I can't say for sure.

I've seen a few Freightliner FL60s with extended cabs around, but those are larger. Other than that, the only other option is something like this:
