    Scrap from scrap

I took a load of scrap in yesterday (got crappy $6 for load ) When I was pulling out a nabor who has ben told lots before that I scrap comes out and askes what I am doing with the metal. I told him that I was scrapping it. He goes oh I didn't know you did that you want some more so I dropped it off and took trailer to his house we loaded up a couple of microwaves, 2 vacuums, 1 window A/C, a lot of car parts, 2 celling fans, some aluminum, and half a load of scrap....I am happy especially when it was only 2 doors down.

Networking. Expand your network of "scrap givers" (for a lack of better word). When people call you to come pick up their scrap, the job gets much easier and more fruitful. When I first started scrapping, finding scrap took up a lot of time. Now several years down the road, I have a network, and the scrap finds me.
(I do still search for it, just not as much time is taken out of my week to search for it.)

The vacuums were not complete. The microwave worked, however; the glass was busted so I have parts to put on ebay I should get $30 or more for them from what I researched. The A/C is not complete. So I have more then scrap coming back.
