    The Woods Never Disappoint

Was dragging out some rusty shred from the woods behind my house (never ending job) when I noticed a strand of wire sticking out the ground. About 5 minutes of digging and snipping with wire cutters and came to find that someone left or intentionally buried a pretty heavy copper wire spool. You can see on one side its oxidized bright blue where it was exposed and the rest of the roll is still dirty brown/rust. Dont have a scale to weight it but feels like at least 35 pounds. Dont get a lot of copper and have never actually sold any but insulated wire, so do you guys think this is #3? Whats that going for now 1$/lb? Going to hoard it with the rest of my limited supply of copper but just curious. Either way, another awesome time in the woods. *yes I did magnet test and its copper.

Have not completely unearthed this thinner one yet, seems to go pretty deep underground, makes me wonder if this was some guys failed experiment to get power to something he didn't want anyone to know about...

We buy that as green hard wire (#1) and put in with our #1 burnt wire.
