The clean up had been postponed by the family, the deceased had not made out a will and now the lawyers are now about to rape the estate.

Should you find yourself in such a predicament, its common practice for a family member to make application to the courts to designate a family member as executor, if all beneficiaries are in agreement in how the estate is going to be split up then going through the motions of probate are fairly straight forward.

I told this to the brother in law but think the slimy lawyer has already has them sign papers giving him authority to act as executor, lesson here is always read what your sighing. If you do not understand the language get another lawyer under consultation to explain it to you.

Might be the best $100.00 you've spent in a long time. Knowledge is power.

As for not getting the clean up this does not break my heart as I already have plenty on my plate to keep me busy.

Pat and I went on our milk run yesterday taking in four landfill sites, the first was a bonanza with a lot of video hardware that Parks Canada had disposed of, then two soft ice cream machines each having a pair of 2 hp electric motors plus a pair with hear reducer heads that I'll go back for did not have the proper sockets to remove.

From the same landfill an old lawn boy mower with a two stroke engine, these sell on ebay for around $100.00.

Our seconded stop I got a nice Sanyo plasma flat screen tv that actually worked when plugged in at home so we now have our first television in 12 years.

The third site was non productive but from our last stop got a very old electric roaster made by Westinghouse that I'm going to use for electro-chemistry projects the roaster would be perfect for keeping my electrolytes heated.

After a years absence from attending the landfill sites all the custodians greeted us with warm welcome smiles, we had a good day.

Sister to the Lawn Boy mower I found yesterday, in all likelihood the mower deck is magnesium.
