    Wow buisness cards actually work.

So I got my business cards in last week and started handing them out like crazy. What I didn't expect was to get a call two days later ( I knew that they would increase buisness but i didnt know that fast.) about some stuff a guy had in the back of his yard that he needed hauled off. Well he showed my card to a couple of his friends and I got a couple more bites. I ended up with a load Saturday Sunday and today with another load wensday. My total for all three days combined is.

    40# insulated wire
    36# copper 2
    A fifteen pound electric motor
    Two microwaves
    Two tv's
A relay for a flow capacitor.
    Two small ups
    15 pounds aluminum
    A large stainless steel grill.
A Broken go cart that I am going to try to fix
And about 300 pounds of shred.

All and all a decent start to prove the effectiveness of business cards

I'd say that worked really well too. I have to get me some cards soon. Thanks for letting us know how they worked out for you.

Just another option for the newer members of the forum.

I used them for about a year till I could see how well business cards helped then went to professional cards.

I started off with the Avery diy cards myself to at least have some on hand while I shopped around for a good price of pro prints. Ended up going the fedex route. They had (and I believe still do) a sale on the 500 count. The higher counts actually didn't save you anything. So (being a frugal scrapper) I went through the order process 3 times and got 1500 for less than the 1500 qty order. No I hand them out like Oprah. You get a business card, you get a business card, everyone gets a business card!!!

My first box of cards was from staples biz Centre. Did the online order thing was a sale promo 20 bucks a box. They were really thin and looked photo copied.. drove me nuts. I really didn't feel good ha ding them out. Was embairsing. I now print my own with thick card paper that snaps out. Look at a few biz card magnets for people's fridges. It's amazing how many times my cards been passed around. One dinner party. One card a dozen calls. People like free junk removal. Best investment besides my truck and trailer and boots
