if the scraps in a locked up garage, out of sight-then there a good chance she wont mind too much

women care a lot about how the yard & home looks
whats valuable to us is just junk to them

i have the same problem with my parents

after i strip every big load & take it to the scrapyard-my mother says:
"make sure this is the last time u bring scrap into my yard"

My wife is happy to see when I pick up a big lot!
She understands that this is all money/profit. Sometimes she even helps me break down stuff, come with me to the scrap yard, etc without having to ask. I couldn't ask for better.

I guess I should post an update to this 4 year old thread someone found, lol.

Last June we finally bought a house and I have a 2 car garage in which is my kingdom. As long as when it's snowing and she has a place to park(that's mainly so I don't have to scrape her car) she is happy. I have worked pretty hard to keep it neat. This week I scored a really nice work bench from my job that we don't need anymore which will help. I'll throw up some pictures once I get it setup and the 50 year old cabinets yanked out.

I find jobs that are far away from us. Then my girl comes with me for the week.... We work hard for few days. Then we take a day of and explore the area around. We spent two weeks on a Indian res. We work hard for few days. Then took three different days off. We hike the applation trial... Great view. Saw my first waterfall, then went to a local car show. Was great. My girl worked harder then she ever did in her life lol.
