Your spot on too muich junk on
eBay, i recently purchased a Burndy Hydraulic crimper used on overhead power lines where the copper at the watherhead at the house connects to utility company aluminum coming in from the street.
Seller claimed the unit worked, so I purchased it $188.00 USD plus shipping to Canada, when it arrived found that it was leaking oil all over the place and did not as claimed work. Dumpster fodder this seller had picked up selling on ebay leaving it up to the customer to check it out if it works of not.
The sellers ad on ebay was well written in clear English, during our communication seller came accross as a backwoods inbred hick, much to his surprise Ebay now insists that the seller supply a return shipping label.for returns. Possibly this only apply's to those who have a consistancey with bad sales with returns.
We waited for the return label which never arrived, eventually was refunded for both my purchase and shipping.
Also borrowed a crimper from a buddy who is an elctrician, my 200 amp upgrade is almost completed just finnishing up on some inside wiring upgrades.
I had purchased this crimper through my better half's ebay account, in the first ebay communication they had commented on her lenght of time that she has been a member, 2002 active as both seller and buyer without incident.
Good to see eBay finally weeding out the bad eggs.
