    my Glendale up in smoke

Last summer my sister bought a camper that ended up being a lemon. ...she didn't know what to look for and the seller seen her coming a mile away full of excitement. Long story short it was full of water damage soft floor the whole 9 yards. So I offered her my her my 16fter to use which was gutted then renovated while her and my mom got their house ready to sell. After the birth of my second kid it was way to small and I lost intrest anyways. Used her lemon to make another utility trailer and she got her own space.

Last Wednesday i just got off work at 2am. just got on the hiway and I got a text from her

She was in the house with my grandpa eating cabbage rolls. She took the plates into the kitchen and her....my trailer was on fire. Fire department was called to hose down the trees and put the tire fire out. They had a 40 min drive to our location wasn't much left by the time they showed up. No electrical was left. I gutted and riped it all out. We used an extension cord through an access door In the side for a small 3 place power bar. Lamp and laptop phone charger. No appliances. We figure the laptop was the cause.

This is the mess I got to clean up

Well trailer has a dirty load of irony aluminum. Found a couple cool globs of aluminum ingets lol....thankfully nothing else caught on fire. My 5 year daughters brand new z120 snowmobile was in the shed beside it. Mom's car had some melted parts and two tires and a tail light needs replaced. .....we got lucky.

I did say last week I needed a drop axle with a 48 spring Centre. World has a funny way of working out

Sorry about your loss. I am glad your family and other material items were safe. It looks like the paint on the jack stands was not destroyed so the frame should not have bent. Depending on the axle strength, you should have many options for a design for a new trailer. (Maybe a snowmobile trailer for your daughter?)
Give back more to this world than we take.

Glad your loss was small in relation to what it might have been. No doubt you will carry on. 73 for now, Mike

Condolences on the loss of the trailer.

Sounds like you need a volunteer fire dept in your area.
