Things That Make You Go Hmmmmm....

C'mon baybeee. What lights your fire? I like silver and gold coins... I find silver easier to collect, but gold coins are cool. I like old currency and stamps. I just picked up an old silver certificate I thought was cool. It is what they call "a horse blanket."



But I have to say I like the old printed postage stamps better. I particularly like multi color flat plate printed stamps. It is very sad to me that postage stamps are for the most part no longer collected or appreciated. I have made a couple stamp purchases that ended up making me money, but were not worth what I thought they would be worth.

I have a thing for old lamps... Kero and electric. I have to be careful not to buy because I like the look of them but they will just sit and take up space.

I like antique furniture and I like either refinishing it or bringing it back to working life.

This winter I will be able to get into my shop and I will be able to start working on things that really make me go Hmmmm. This winter I will be making the shop a year round workshop. I will be installing a wall unit AC so I can use the shop comfortably in the summer and doing and enjoying the things things that make me go Hmmm. This year I want to start making money from the shop I dropped in the yard last year.

They say you never work a day if you enjoy what you are doing. I want to start working and making money on things I enjoy doing.
