Trimmed ram and pic cards

Ok my friends, I know somewhere in the archives there are post on this but just started a second job and don't have a lot of time except on the weekends, but do buyers buy ram and slot cards with the fingers trimmed. Youngest son wants to try his hand at extracting the gold off the fingers.(I told him it wasn't a good idea, chemicals and all), but I have a good fume hood in my shop. Was just wondering if I can still sell the cards and ram without the fingers. Any help will be very much appreciated. And it seems like everyone wants a quote nowadays so I'll leave y'all with one my dad passed onto me before he passed, and to the best of my knowledge this is an original (courage is being in an impossible situation and being brave enough to act like the man or woman you were raised to be.) he had a few but that's the one I like the most

I would say to go ahead and trim the cards but not the RAM. It would devalue it too much. As msmorad pointed out, at least one of the buyers on here has a listed price for trimmed/devalued finger cards.

Trim the Gold fingers from Mylar, from inkjet printers and such to process if you want to as a experiment and leave the fingers on the boards and sell them like that.

Theres other boards with gold plating on them too, keypads from all things and LCD clock boards from microwaves, printers etc.
That sort of random stuff probably good for experimental purposes.
