a/c. does it depend on the guy? it should depend on a common standard and not buy who you get if thats the case i like the old man better=) stainless steel sink was 9 pounds still at .20, copper went down to 1.40 it was 1.50 and held for a long time. out of all the times i have went there i always got #1 for my a/c tubes until now=( all in all i made out with 57.65. why are cans and old sheet worth more than cast ali?
#1 copper is clean. No paint, no solder, etc. Some yards grade all copper from any unit with
refrigerant as #2 due to residual oil left behind. First guy may not have realized what they were from. #2 pipe and #2 wire will moat likely pay the same. It is common to mix them. Same with #1. Only wire that would be different would be bare bright. Very surprised that your copper price went down. Based on the Comex price, it should be going up. Any yards that haven't gone up, I would expect a significant jump in December when they sign new orders / contracts.
