Here anything two wheel drive the drive train ends up under a street rod. Not so much for the 4 x 4 stuff. Good find though especially if it runs and drives. Last week I was hauling about 40 old filing cabinets and server cabinets from a place nearby when the guy asked me if I wanted a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. It runs. It has Minnesota plates on it so it has some minor rust issues. Cannot pass on something free that runs and drives with a title. I just got done parting out a free for the taking 1979 280ZX that also had some minor rust issues. It ran as well but the thing was in bad shape so it got parted out. Made about $800 so far selling parts off it. I go to a tow company auction now and then. They sell off their impounded cars and trucks. At the last one I bought a 1994 S10 Blazer 4 x 4. It ran and drove but was rough and needed tires. Had under a 100K miles on it. Paid $105 bucks for it. Loaded it on my trailer and brought it home. Had it one day and sold it for $500 and watched it drive away. I will pay a few bucks for cars but with today's scrap prices it does not pay to flip them for scrap only.
