Year end total poundage

I'm just a part timer so I know my total weight is small potatoes to some of you. While to others it may be a lot. But I thought I'd share my year end total weight brought to my main yard I deal with 99% of the time.



This last year I managed to recycle 23.26 tons. 46,520 back breaking pounds. Lol.

Now, this yard doesn't do any electronics, odd metals like carbide or magnesium, or non metals. That all goes elsewhere. But my volumes of those combined were maybe 500 to 1000 lbs total for the year. But still, anyone else big or small that keeps track and is willing to share, how much weight did you keep out of the landfill this year?

Slow year for my company but we still did a little over 60 tons or 120000lbs. That dosent include electronics or plastics we recycle as well.

These totals were after we stopped buying off the public and recycling catalytic converters for the year. Converter totals would be a lot higher that went out to New Hampshire.

Way way less poundage and cash this year due to ****ty prices, passed up lots of stuff as well. Only good thing was a lot less trips to the scrap yard as well. Still have some stuff held onto around here and sold a lot of stuff as dirty instead of breaking it down....

I set a goal of a million pounds this year, but I'm not going to make it. Right now I'm at 920,000 pounds and there's only two weeks left. I'm blaming my scrap yard though as they closed for 4 days at Thanksgiving. Next year I'm aiming for a little higher.

I did take it all in myself. My trailer holds 12 refrigerators and I shoot for 2 loads across the scales every day.

Poundage is...well not my personal forte, but we have done 78,790 sticks of ram, well...that tested good. My employees, son and myself have permanent "ram callous" from slotting memory into our machines over and over again lol. I will make 80k this year with what we have untested yet.
