Don't tear them down if they're working. If you did, you could have missed a big payday.
The last radiant systems I picked up I sold for $400 ea.
Yes do not Tear down. prob sell the entire lot for a good chunk of change!
I agree with them. Don't tear them apart unless they don't work. If they work, they can be worth some real money.
Great, I tore a couple down , but I will stop. This is why this site is so great. I also picked up a Panasonic tough book and there no joke, I took it apart instead of the pos terminals and found a weird super protected intel pentuim 2 cpu. Guess that saved me from ripping them all apart.
Any leads as where to sell them? Thanks

Yes, you will get the most from ebay. Before you list them, make sure you have all of the packing material you need to ship them. The heavy duty boxes from home depot work great. Lots of padding. Having this ready will keep you from stressing out when you sell it. If you don't want to use ebay, you will have to find a reseller of this kind of retail equipment preferably in your area, but you can search online as well. You won't get as much $ that way though.
Watch out selling them with the hard drives.
Also many of my customers that I pickup POS systems from want them 100% destroyed so they wont be on the market anymore. Reselling them is competition against your customer. (If you get them from a POS support company).
Just a heads up-Don't shoot yourself in the foot.
I picked up the same score, 20+ touch screens, thumbprint readers, CC readers and printers, couple of servers and the main POS terminal with a very high end mobo and drives in it. all works, but pretty much useless. if you look around, they are being sold off all over the place. mine were free stacked for a week out by the dumpster. as businesses switched over to the new chip readers and Windows XP POS (which is what they all ran) is no longer supported, these machines are all surplus.
I thought I'd make a killing selling this stuff but alas, haven't sold any of it and scrapped the computers....the touch screen monitors I am giving away to friends, they work just fine as a regular computer monitor.
i'll be watching to see if you make out Ok on this stuff, good luck...
