Something that has worked for me when it comes to ebay pictures. When I first started doing computer parts and stuff I was using the same white plaster background I had been using when I was doing horror movie stuff. By shear coincidence when I moved the shop the first time the picture table was left home and I was taking pictures against particle board and my desk, for whatever reason people seemed to prefer the contrast of that and Ive used it since heh.
