Nice washer Mike!!
Wow!!
LOL......yea that's the $300 Home Depot special washer!!!!!!!
Alphaserver Board P_orn.
I PM'd you.
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
Thank you Mike for working a deal with me to SAVE these boards from the "Circuit Board Eating Machine"
I've fallen down the rabbit hole.. Dam_n Alphas get me every time!
Its no problem......I'm glad there are still people out there that appreciate these boards.........I am so amazed at how heavy and well built these are compared to newer boards....
IMHO.. Compaq produced THE most beautiful boards.
All of us that know what the Tantalum is, you sit back and look at these with their gold processors and scores of Tantalum.. it is an e-wasters dream!
I'm impressed you knew it was Compaq........I have taken apart a large number of servers/large machines etc and this thing was one of the most well put together machines I have ever seen...........Compaq was good stuff before they merged with HP and became their budget line
Well, I sort of have a "Thing" for these particular boards.
I broke down an Alphaserver on my very 1st e-waste load- found those chips and went all "Goo Goo, Ga Ga"
Dove deeper into the brand and the Alphaserver line and got hooked like seeing a "Fine fine woman"
