    Why would anyone cut a cord out a desktop computer? (So if anyone know please tell me?)

    I've seen 'cord cutters' snip the removable power cord on PCs, when all they had to do was unplug it...Never made any sense to me...

    Some yards want all ends removed from the cords.

    Could be the original owner cut it to make sure that nobody can take it to re-use it. My auto body shop guy i pick up from cuts most of the cord off his old power tools he gives me.

    Power tools are different, he may not want his old tools resold. The computer cord unplugs and you can get super easy. I the to agree with I have to agree with DiamondN on this, it doesn't make sense.
