The Dive

There is a dumpster I visit that often has old computers (it's at an office complex) they let me take
what ever is there & was told just never add trash . Each month i average about 8 computer's
But tonight was like wow there were 30 desk top computers , 6 laptops some hard drives
anyway tonight was a score !!

I took them apart today , 5 have the star bit screws gotta catch up on them ,
I'll take a pic of the truck with the cases and the 40 gallon pail with boards
another bucket with drives, The power packs going as copper bearing in truck also
I have to use photo bucket as I hit my limit here thats why less pics lately

Oh yeah it did happen, and as I suffer with this tear down I ask my self is this worth it I guess one day when I sell my boards it will be .

I also did a smart thing . I had some ply wood and cut it to fit as needed to slide in and cover my back window To date I have busted my back windows all the time
well not this time !!!

I bought and use a set of 6" torx bits similar to this ebay listing.

I also have several Philips head bits that are 6" long. These longer bits make breaking down towers so much easier. After several thousand towers I recommend you purchase some if you don't already have them.

I also use Ryobi 12v drivers, three of them with different bits in each. This keeps me moving and productive. I don't think Ryobi is still selling the 12v drivers they do sell the 18v. They are light weight and make it so even old guys can work for hours. 73, Mike
