Inside that little switch (just under 10mm square) are two gold balls, probably only electroplated.
There are two tiny springs aswell, so becareful when opening.

where do u find the switch? which items?
I have seen those dip switches on a lot of things. They are very small, probably just a bit smaller than the picture. They come in banks of who knows how many, 8, 12, 16, 20. I had heard there was gold in them but have never bothered before. I may have to take another look at some of the low board garbage that has no destination for me.
Copper, brass, and Leather. 3 of my favorite things.
Brand: Grayhill
Type: 2 way SPDT dip switch ( series 76 or 78 most likely )
